Shipping, returns, and other frequently asked questions
 
What is the pricing structure for shipping?
All orders for blank Envelopments stock over $150 in merchandise receive complimentary UPS ground shipping in the continental United States.  Other continental UPS shipping charges are based on weight (generally costing between $9-$13).  Expedited shipping is also available in the form of 3-day, 2-day, or overnight for an additional fee.  Orders sent to Hawaii or Alaska are not eligible for complimentary shipping.  
 
Can I buy just the blank Envelopments stock?
Absolutely.  Orders can be placed in an multiple of 10 pieces with 10 being the minimum.  For a printable version of our blank stock pricing please use the link below:

Can I get stock custom cut to create layers?
Yes.  We provide custom cutting of blank stock for $7/100 of the same size and color.  When you place your order you will need to order the next larger size, and then place your custom cutting instructions in the custom cutting section located near the bottom of the order form.  Note that custom cutting is available for TRIMMING only (i.e. to make a 5x7 into a 4 1/2 x 6 1/2).  It is not available for multiple cuts from one piece (i.e. to cut 8 1/2 x 11 into two 5 x 7).  We are also able to provide custom scoring and drilling services.
 
How long will it take my Envelopments order to ship?
Most standard orders (ground) ship within 3-5 business days.  Orders requiring expedited shipping (2-day or overnight) leave the warehouse within 24 business hours.  Note that weekends are not counted in processing time.  Extra time may be necessary for custom work and on occasion for Anna Griffin designs.  Orders ship via UPS ground unless otherwise requested from client.  Once shipped, ground delivery times vary from 1-5 business days depending on your location (please click here for a map of UPS time in transit for more specific travel time to your location).  Most orders are in stock as shipping is direct from the Envelopments warehouse in CA.  If an item is not in stock clients are generally notified within 48 business hours of order; Envelopments does not guaranteed that all items are in stock all the time.  If an order is available in part you would have the option of receiving a partial shipment and allowing a backorder on the out of stock item (additional shipping cost at clients responsibility) or holding the order until it can ship complete.  Most backorders ship within 5 business days.  

Do you ship internationally?
Unfortunately at this time we ship only within the United States.  We also do not accept any type of funds received from outside of the United States.

Can I have you print and assemble my invitations or can I only order blank stock from you?
You can do anything you would like.  If you only want to order the blank stock to make your own invitations you can proceed right to our order form.  If you would like to have us print your pieces and you would like to assemble it that is fine too.  Or, we can do everything for - including guest addressing the envelopes, putting the stamps on and taking them to the post office for hand-cancelling if you would like.  We try to make our service very a la carte so that you can decide how involved (or not involved) you would like to be.  We can provide complete stationery needs including Save The Date, Invitation, Thank You Notes, Programs, Menu Cards, Escort Cards, printed napkins and even custom monogrammed postage stamps.

How long does it take to receive custom invitations made?
It takes approximately 4 weeks for custom invitations.  This certainly does vary based on how busy we are at the time of your order and the complexity of your order.  Rush orders are available in certain instances.  Times for programs, menu cards, etc. are generally 2-3 weeks.

How do I get a price quote for a custom invitation?
If you click on the "Request A Quote" heading above there is a form with the questions you will need to answer in order to get a custom price quote.  We price everything separately so that you can decide which services you would like to choose (printing, assembly, guest addressing, etc.)  The more information you provide the easier it makes it for us to provide you with a quote that will answer all your questions and suit your needs.  Most quotes are provided within 24-48 hours.
 
What if the quote is not the budget I was looking for?
We are always happy to revise quotes to suit your budget needs or changes in concept.  We are very good at suggesting places to trim the costs without greatly effecting your invitation concept. 
 
Do I receive a proof of my custom invitation before it prints?
Absolutely.  We do not charge for proofs, and require that our clients review each layer of their invitation ensemble (even envelopes) via a PDF proof and a signed Proof Approval form is required before we will print.
 
Do you charge for custom monogram design?
If we are providing your printing service then all design work including text layout, monogram design, motif and graphic selection are at no additional charge to our clients.  Otherwise monogram service alone is available for a small fee.
 
Do you have monogram styles and graphics beyond what is shown on your website?
Of course.  We have access to thousands of graphics and we work with each client to secure the graphic that perfectly compliments their vision of their design.  Each monogram is custom designed for each bride.  We generally provide 3 starting designs to each client and then modify based on the clients wishes.  What is on our website is just a sampling of items we have used for other clients.
 
What if I don't see a font I like on the font page?
The font page is a sampling of the most popular fonts we use.  We have hundreds to choose from and can certainly accommodate almost any request.  To view the font page please use the link below:

Do you have other ribbons and papers beyond what is shown on the website?
Yes we do.  We have dozens of paper and ribbon suppliers and are not able to put swatches of absolutely everything on the website.  If there is a style you are looking for that you do not see please e-mail us at sales@textstyledesigns.com to inquire.
 
Do you have a minimum order for printing?
Yes.  Our minimum print order is 50 invitation sets.
 
Are all of the designs on your website real invitations?
Yes.  We design all of our invitations for real brides, real weddings.  The samples you see on our website are not created for advertising purposes.  We create new designs with the Envelopments line every day and are extremely well versed in all the particulars of the entire line.

I do not live in the Boston Area and can not come in for an appointment, can I really create a custom design over the internet?
Absolutely.  95% of our clients are not local to our area and we never meet them.  Between e-mail, phone and mailing swatches we can design the perfect invitation for you (just see our "about us" page for comments from national and international clients). 

I am familiar with thermography, but do not know what is meant by "off-set printing" that I see on so many of your designs?
Unlike thermography which is raised, off-set printing is a flat finish printing process.  It is done on commercial printing presses so it has a much better quality than companies using laser printing.  Off-set is an affordable alternative to thermography so that brides can spend money on their beautiful layers of paper to create the visual appeal of their design as opposed to the printing.  90% of our brides choose off-set printing, and we are happy to send a sample of the quality of this print at your request.

I need my invitation printed in another language, can that be done?
Yes.  Although we do not have translation services we can print in other languages if you can provide the written text.  We can then do the layout/design for you.  You will note on our website examples in Armenian, Spanish and Hebrew (to name a few).

How do I know if the color I see on my screen is going to be the actual color of the product?

As computer screens can vary greatly you have a few options.  We have a complimentary Swatch Program which allows our customers to order up to 4 business card size swatches at no charge.  Use the link below to go to this request page.

If you prefer to purchase the entire Swatch Deck we sell that item for $10 plus the shipping cost.  You are also able to purchase any number of samples of any size Pocketfold, Envelopment, Z-Card, Gatefold or Portable Pocket for $2.25 per sample plus shipping.  You do not need to purchase a Swatch Deck to purchase samples.  Both of these items can be ordered by going to the on-line order form and looking at the first product heading which is Swatch Deck.

Do you offer large order discounts?
TextStyle Designs provides the best prices available to all clients, be their event for 10 guests or 100 guests.  We automatically grant an additional 5% off our list price on any any you order over 250 pieces of the same size/color/style.  The website order form will calculate this for you without any type of coupon code.  If you require over 500 pieces of the same item please contact us for additional information on quantity pricing.

What if I receive my order and there is an error?
As orders are machine counted there are from time to time small discrepancies in the product or amount you receive.  We ask, as noted on your packing slip, that you carefully review each item ordered for style, size, color and quantity.  All errors must be reported within 5 business days of receipt to be corrected at no charge to the client per Envelopments policy.

What is your return policy?
In order to keep our costs low to our customers we are not able to accept returns as we ship all of our orders direct from the Envelopments warehouse.  All Sales are Final.  Certainly if you have received the incorrect item the situation will be rectified immediately as noted above under Order Discrepancies.  PLEASE DO NOT RETURN PRODUCT DIRECTLY TO ENVELOPMENTS WITHOUT CONTACTING US AS NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED IN THIS INSTANCE.
